THE MOMMY’S STORY 

Tammi Nankin,  opened the fridge and found her Mom’s special salad dressing, with a handwritten label saying “From Mommy with Love”. 

It was so loved by her friends and family and praised by all who tasted it, that Tammi started making it in bulk and selling it to some retail stores and catering wholesalers in Cape Town. 

As a result of the steady rise in sales and necessary adherence to  food safety and HACCP regulations, she decided to have it manufactured by a specialised food manufacturer who had these structures in place as well as being hands-on enough to ensure that Mommy’s was produced exactly as she had done. 

Tammi eventually used Vigne Marketing, an FMCG Distribution and Marketing Company, as agents to service the Western Cape. 

9 years ago Vigne Marketing acquired the company from Tammi and the rest is history. Tammi remains available to Vigne Marketing in an advisory capacity which is invaluable!
